Dr. Harmohinder (Herman) Athwal is a Stanford-trained Board Certified Child Psychiatrist. He has over 14 years of experience working with children and adolescents in various settings, including as Director of the Adolescent Program, in an inpatient setting and now as the Director of Adolescent PHP at Fremont Hospital.
Dr. Vikas Duvvuri received his PhD in Neurosciences from Stanford, and went on to receive his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He is a Caltech and Stanford-trained neuroscientist with expertise in the neurochemistry of eating disorders. Dr. Duvvuri has helped start several eating disorder programs, including as founding Medical Director of Adolescent Services at UC San Diego. In addition to his ownership of Sunol Hills, Dr. Duvvuri is also the current Medical Director at Fremont Hospital.
Dr. Fooks is the Medical Director of Sunol Hills at Oakview and was previously the Medical Director at Fremont Hospital and Associate Medical Director at Magellan Behavioral Health. He has worked in various public, private and academic settings, such as San Francisco General Hospital, Group Practice Affiliates and UC Berkeley. Originally from England, Dr. Fooks attended medical school in Massachusetts, and then came West to the warmer climes of the Bay Area.
