At Mid Peninsula Eating Disorder Clinic, we empower you to find your voice, accept your present, and embrace your future with the support of our community. Our philosophy centers on the healing power of community and meeting each client where they are. By understanding our clients holistically, we tailor evidence-based treatment approaches to meet individual needs. Our collaborative approach employs various evidence-based therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Harm Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing.

What are the program hours?

Monday-Thursday: 12-7:30 PM

Friday: 12-4:30 PM

What is the typical length of stay?

PHP: 1-2 months

IOP: 3-4 months

What do I need to bring each day?

Meals, a snack, a journal or notebook, coping tools, and any necessary medications.

Are there breaks during the day?

Yes, though you are required to stay on-site during breaks.

What should I bring for meals/snacks?

Variety is encouraged. Follow your portion guide and individualized meal plan. Consult with your RD for support.

Do you offer family therapy?

Yes, speak to your individual therapist if interested.

What if I need more support?

Discuss with your care team for additional support or alternative treatment options.

What if I am in crisis?

Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If in crisis during the program, speak with an available therapist.
