Our Story

When someone is struggling, the last thing they need is to be told they don’t “fit the criteria” to receive treatment. Sunol Hills was founded out of necessity by three local psychiatrists who saw this happen too often. From the beginning, Sunol Hills has been built around a flexible, person-centered care model designed to meet people where they are, even when things are complex.

A world where everyone, including those with complex needs, can access life-changing eating disorder and mental health treatment, and feel seen, understood, and supported.

What we do at Oakview is challenging, often difficult, work. The staff at the house continues to work together to create a safe, growth oriented, space for the clients, and a unified collaborative atmosphere for the team.
